چکیده

Abstract The morphological and morphometric variability of the nematode Oswaldocruzia filiformis from ten amphibian species ( Pelophylax ridibundus, lessonae, esculentus, Rana arvalis, temporaria, Bufo bufo, Bufotes viridis, Pelobates vespertinus, Bombina bombina Lissotriton vulgaris ) was studied. sampling performed during period 2018–2020 in fifteen localities European Russia. We examined following features: number crests mid-body level, shape lateral alae, cephalic vesicle, structure spicules males, male caudal bursa, dorsal ray bursa; measurements nine characteristics females seven characters subjected to variability. Significant differences O. both sexes different amphibians various regions were revealed. Likewise, significant revealed for most features same type bursa identical all males we have not found reproductive system females. Variability noted size vesicle at rib bursa. Differences Russia can be explained by phenotypic plasticity species. While variations morphology are caused host-induced parasite. nematodes their studied may changes ecological conditions habitats. broad increases adaptive capabilities helminth allows it parasitize a wide range hosts.

Morphological variation of Nymphaea (Nymphaeaceae) in European Russia

The morphological variability of the genus Nymphaea is described on the basis of detailed studies of fresh material from 49 populations in European Russia and southern Siberia. Macromorphological characters in the field (including analysis of leaf shape using geometrical morphometry), pollen size and exine sculpture have been analyzed. One polymorphic widespread species, N. candida, grows in mo...

Domorganus gigas sp. n. (Nematoda) from Lake Baikal, Russia.

Material and methods Nematodes were collected in Lake Baikal, from Bolshie Koty Bay near Dva Brata (Two Brothers) rock on 10 June 2008, at 3–4 m depth from sand, with the help of a UWITEC benthic tube. The samples contained numerous free-living nematodes, including the species described herein. Nematodes were fixed by standard methods, and mounted in glycerin-jelly on permanent slides. All obse...

Three new species of the genus Oswaldocruzia Travassos, 1917 belonging to the sub-family Molineinae are described from the stomach and/or the small intestine of Enyalius spp. from Brazil. They belong to group 6 of Ben Slimane, Chabaud & Durette-Desset (1996). In this group they share along with O. peruensis Ben Slimane, Verhaag & Durette-Desset, 1995, a parasite of Iguanidae from Peru the follo...
